Caissa - A Chess Card Game

There is also a Tabletop Simulator Mod of this game which is way easier to set up.

Caissa is a game all about decisions and consequences. It uses classic aspects of trading card games, like each player having a different synergistic deck and cards interacting with each other, and combines that with the strategic gameplay of chess.

Here's how the different decks play:
Death: Use your graveyard to your advantage. Sacrifice pieces and then bring them back from the dead.

Wheel of Fortune: Manipulate dice throws to your advantage. Steal your opponent's gold and then outvalue them with your dice engine.

Hierophant: Cycle through your deck. Sometimes, discarding cards can be a good thing. Manipulate the top card of your deck and generate a combo that is too hard to handle.

Strength: Focus on augmenting a few of your pieces to become very powerful. Use negative augmentations to restrict your opponent's possibilities.
